The UK's response to the climate crisis has been slow and inadequate, with a lack of political will to address the underlying issues. But there are glimmers of hope. People are starting to take action, sharing disaster prepping tips and organizing community initiatives. And there are signs that the government is starting to take the crisis seriously, with increased funding for wildfire management and heat wave planning. But it's not enough. We need a wholesale program of rebuild and future proofing for our infrastructure, and a more proactive approach to climate change.
